[RWD version 1 ] These two straggling tops are inconveniently situated if traversing the Meenard Mtn - Oughtmore ridge from the north, but can be made into a short cross-country yomp from the south. Parking is scarce on the B47 but on my visit I left the car a short distance up the vehicular track up Glengomna Water as the gate was open.

The track marked on the map leads a fair way up Crockbrack; at its end veer left to the fence, which leads in due course to the top. It's fences all the way from here on, with another leading down to and up from the river on the ridge north of Mullaghsallagh. From here to the top is the Sperrins of legend, sodden and tussocky, followed by an easy descent of the SE ridge. It may be better descending to the stream slightly earlier than I did as my route crosses some seriously damp ground at its foot.
